* net-firewall/iptables: drop iptables.serviceMike Gilbert2016-08-181-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | This unit really serves no real purpose. The utility of being able to call "systemctl enable iptables" is questionable at best. Given that iptables is not really a daemon but rather a kernel process, having as single unit that persists with RemainAfterExit seems wrong as well. Bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/555920 Package-Manager: portage-2.3.0_p16

* Replace all herds with appropriate projects (GLEP 67)Michał Górny2016-01-241-1/+4
| | | | | Replace all uses of herd with appropriate project maintainers, or no maintainers in case of herds requested to be disbanded.
* Unify quoting in metadata.xml files for machine processingMichał Górny2016-01-241-4/+4
| | | | | | | Force unified quoting in all metadata.xml files since lxml does not preserve original use of single and double quotes. Ensuring unified quoting before the process allows distinguishing the GLEP 67-related metadata.xml changes from unrelated quoting changes.

* net-firewall/iptables: use -fpack-struct w/x32 ABI #472388Mike Frysinger2015-08-201-1/+4
| | | | | Apply a hack for the x32 ABI to try to get it working. The current version is entirely broken, so this is still better than the status quo.

* net-firewall/iptables: init: use -w when running iptables #501710Mike Frysinger2015-08-141-7/+7
| | | | | | | | Newer iptables versions have an internal lock to keep multiple instances from trampling on each other, but you have to use the -w flag. Normally this doesn't come up, but when you run iptables & ip6tables in parallel, things can get a bit racy wrt state (even though they're updating diff sets of chains).

This commit represents a new era for Gentoo: Storing the gentoo-x86 tree in Git, as converted from CVS. This commit is the start of the NEW history. Any historical data is intended to be grafted onto this point. Creation process: 1. Take final CVS checkout snapshot 2. Remove ALL ChangeLog* files 3. Transform all Manifests to thin 4. Remove empty Manifests 5. Convert all stale $Header$/$Id$ CVS keywords to non-expanded Git $Id$ 5.1. Do not touch files with -kb/-ko keyword flags. Signed-off-by: Robin H.
